Colorado contribution limits.

Colorado state law sets limits on contributions to state legislative candidates. Please review these before contributing.

Individual contribution limits for Colorado House candidates are set by state law and adjusted each election cycle. Current limits for the 2026 cycle are available at tracer.colorado.gov.


Who may contribute: Individuals, limited liability companies, partnerships, and small donor committees may contribute within applicable limits. Corporations may not contribute directly to candidate committees under Colorado law.


Required disclosure: Colorado law requires disclosure of the contributor's name, address, employer, and occupation for contributions over $20. This information is filed with the Colorado Secretary of State and is a matter of public record.
